The Hurricane Strike (Roleplayers Wanted- Superhero RP)

This all began when we were very young. I don't know what the circumstances were, but we were experimented on. We all developed powers, which were closely monitored until we were around five. We were then let into the world to develop as humans.

But they didn't like how we grew up. Some of us were too reckless. Others were too smart. Others were just too curious. In our mid-teens, we had to learn to defend ourselves. They really didn't like that. They had to bide their time until we were in our late teens, until we were responsible for our own actions, before they could do anything about us.

We were framed for various crimes, from hacking to terrorism. But they couldn't lock us up. We ran. We were forced into hiding. We met as a group. Things were quiet until about three months ago. Things began to escalate rapidly. We had to move every few days, otherwise they'd find us and shoot out wherever we were hiding.

But a week ago, we were hiding in an abandoned house, trying to fix up our various wounds. We received a phone call with directions. Directions and a warning.

You've wanted answers for so long. I can give you these answers. I'm a friend, someone like you. There are a few of us who are experienced in these types of things. But we aren't willing to give this to you for nothing. We need your help. Our- and your- city is in grave danger. I know you are still a little attached to that city, despite all they have done to you. It is under a threat from a terrorist group, and we need you to help save it. If you are interested, come to the abandoned lab near the sea. You know where it is.
Be warned, the police are outside. As soon as you hang up, they're going to fire. So I'd run.

The warning proved to be true. We escaped with minor injuries, and decided to head to the lab. It took us most of the week due to the fact the police were on our tail constantly. But we're here now. And the fun hasn't even started yet.
